Business Insights Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Chile, Colombia, or Mexico

Salary: EUR 1,500–2,500 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve scalable data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Use SQL to extract, transform, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Support ETL/ELT pipelines and version-controlled analytics workflows using Git.
• Translate business questions and requirements into technical analytics solutions, KPIs, visualizations, specifications, and training materials.
• Investigate data discrepancies and reporting issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage priorities, timelines, dependencies, and risks while documenting solutions and sharing knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, information systems, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience, including querying, transforming, and validating data.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, modern data-processing concepts, Git, and version-controlled analytics workflows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and data-quality skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, BigQuery, or Composer.
• Experience with dbt for in-warehouse data transformation.
• Python for scripting and analytics automation.
• Exposure to cloud analytics architectures, Azure Analysis Services, or data governance practices.
