Commercial Finance Intern

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work with 60% of the week in the office and 40% from home. EU working rights are required; EU/EEA citizens must be enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the internship, while non-EU citizens must study at a Dutch university for the full internship.

Allowance: €625 per month for 40 hours and 5 days per week, plus full reimbursement of travel expenses.

What you will do

• Support commercial teams with financial analysis, business insights, and ad hoc business needs.
• Prepare business cases for pricing revisions, product launches, and market investments.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable management, including trade spend payments.
• Update pricing, product, and financial data across business systems.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence tools for decision-making.

Requirements

• EU working rights are required.
• Enrollment at a European university for at least 50% of the internship for EU citizens, or at a Dutch university for the entire internship for non-EU citizens.
• Near completion of a Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Good written and spoken Business English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a solid understanding of commercial P&L.
• Ability to communicate business information clearly, analyze data, collaborate with stakeholders, and work independently.

• Experience with Power Query.
