NEC Project Manager (NEC4)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid working across hirify.global offices, project sites, and remote locations

What you will do

• Administer NEC4 Design & Build contracts on behalf of the client and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Manage compensation events, early warnings, programme assessments, contractual instructions, notifications, and communications.
• Review contractor programmes, including critical paths, float, concurrency, risk allowances, and programme acceptance.
• Lead risk management, project reporting, commercial planning, and performance updates for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate the client, contractor, project leadership, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Provide leadership for project personnel and support project operations at site level while maintaining safety, quality, and governance standards.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of project management experience, including 8 years delivering major infrastructure, transportation, or roads projects.
• Extensive experience administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, preferably in client-side or employer representative roles.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle from development and procurement through construction and close-out.
• Strong commercial, contractual, programme management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• NEC Accredited Project Manager certification, Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, and SafePass accreditation.
