Senior Fullstack Product Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: On-site in New York City, United States

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Ship product features end to end across data models, backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Build foundations that support rapid iteration based on customer feedback.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering.
• Make architectural and technical decisions as the product evolves.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience building backend services and RESTful APIs in TypeScript, Java, Go, or a similar typed language.
• Experience with relational data modeling and SQL, including database and search-system performance under load.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Willingness to work on-site and help build an in-person culture in New York City.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership and architectural design experience.
• GitHub CI/CD experience.
• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally with GCP.
• Experience building product features on top of LLMs.

Hiring process

• CV and statement of exceptional work review followed by a 30-minute interview.
• Programming challenge covering LeetCode and React.
• Three interviews covering experience, theory and system design; live coding; and product thinking and past work. The process is targeted to finish within one week, with interviews conducted via Google Meet.
