What you will do

• Monitor compliance with the UK Data Protection Act, UK GDPR, PECR, Information Commissioner statutory codes, and internal policies.
• Support data protection impact assessments, transfer risk assessments, project governance, and business-as-usual risk processes.
• Manage, classify, investigate, and document data incidents, including recommendations to the Data Protection Officer.
• Maintain records of processing activities, data subject rights requests, incidents, and personal data breaches.
• Draft internal data protection policies and privacy notices and provide advice during vendor and supplier selection.
• Process data subject and third-party disclosure requests, including retrieving records and CCTV footage, redacting documents, and editing video.

Requirements

• Experience managing personal data disclosure requests from police, insurers, licensing authorities, and third-party employers.
• Ability to coordinate with support, pub, IT, and property teams to retrieve personal data and CCTV recordings.
• Ability to process requests accurately, efficiently, and within legal deadlines, escalating complex cases to the DPO.
• Self-sufficiency, diplomacy, strong planning, and the ability to prioritise an independent workload.
• Ability to identify and assess risks, with high personal integrity, persuasive communication, and influencing skills.
