Project Manager Senior (Fintech)

Location: CYP Virtual, Cyprus; hybrid work with part from home and part from the office

Salary: €40,000–€50,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex financial technology projects and programmes from initiation through delivery and closeout.
• Deliver implementation and migration programmes across multiple business segments, functions, clients, and external partners.
• Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements and translate them into implementation strategies and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Establish project baselines and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, reporting, and change control.
• Maintain relationships with clients, executive sponsors, internal teams, and external partners throughout delivery.
• Strengthen delivery capability through governance, continuous improvement, decision-making, and mentoring of project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, MIS, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of project or programme management experience delivering complex IT or financial technology projects through the full lifecycle.
• Strong software implementation experience and understanding of application development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience leading multinational, virtual, and cross-functional teams while managing multiple client engagements.
• Advanced skills in planning, estimation, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, negotiation, and problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and flexibility to travel and collaborate across time zones.

Nice to have

• PMI PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with card management, payment processing, banking technology, or other payments industry projects.
• Experience delivering complex customisations, new modules, framework enhancements, or solutions in new countries.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools for planning, reporting, and governance.
