Location: Home-based in South Africa; listed locations include Centurion, Durban-Coastal, Bloemfontein, and Bellville.

What you will do
- Assess protocol-based EDC collection requirements and create study start-up eCRF packages from global eCRF libraries.
- Design eCRF layouts, form dynamics, edit checks, custom functions, and EDC coding configurations.
- Create technical specifications for tSDV, Safety Gateway integrations, and Datamart mappings.
- Perform test and production Medidata Rave EDC migrations and oversee IWRS integration planning and implementation.
- Provide subject-matter expertise for complex EDC database builds and custom-function implementation.
- Train junior staff and participate in clinical data management process, system, and tool improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building EDC databases for clinical research.
- Technical Medidata Rave EDC build experience, including complex database builds.
- Advanced knowledge of custom-functions programming.
- Experience working on clinical trials.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Experience working in highly diverse, cross-functional, global, and multiregional clinical research teams.
- Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and CDASH.
