Ops Automation Manager (Fintech)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid model with up to 3 days working from home

What you will do

• Design and implement automation workflows connecting operational tools through n8n, Zapier, Python, Bash, and APIs.
• Automate processes across HubSpot, Notion, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Looker Studio.
• Own data consistency and governance standards across systems, including data structures, naming, mapping, and process ownership.
• Lead discovery sessions with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Integration, and Finance to map processes and identify bottlenecks.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and improve AI-powered solutions and agent-based automations, driving adoption across teams.
• Manage automation projects end to end, coordinate a small team, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in automation engineering, RPA, workflow automation, or technical operations, preferably in a SaaS or API environment.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Bash, workflow automation platforms such as n8n or Zapier, and API tools such as Postman.
• Experience with HubSpot, Notion, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
• Experience with data governance, process mapping, SOPs, project management, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
• Experience delivering AI-powered or agent-based automation projects and supporting adoption by non-technical teams.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken, required.

• Experience guiding or mentoring junior colleagues or interns.
