Senior Manager – Next-Gen Pre-Pack Counting Lead (Automation)

Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of three days per week in the office. Relocation is not offered for this role.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for next-generation counting technology across the hirify.global element portfolio.
• Define reliable, efficient, and scalable methods for counting and handling hirify.global elements.
• Shape equipment architecture, interfaces, specifications, and performance requirements across connected subsystems.
• Lead specialist teams and manage workstream scope, quality, timing, and cost.
• Develop concepts and prototypes, test performance, and confirm technical feasibility and manufacturing readiness.
• Coordinate requirements and technology implementation with R&D teams, suppliers, automation partners, and production sites.

Requirements

• Education in mechanical or marine engineering, automation, or equivalent technical experience.
• Extensive automation experience in high-volume production or mass-manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using LEAN principles to deliver operational excellence.
• Functional leadership experience collaborating with R&D, suppliers, and production sites to qualify and implement manufacturing technologies.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel approximately four to six weeks per year to partners, suppliers, and production sites.
