What you will do
- Define end-to-end architectures for products, platforms, and complex customer solutions across software, controls, and electromechanical systems.
- Translate business and product needs into technical requirements, interfaces, and scalable implementation approaches.
- Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, technical risk assessments, and resolution of complex cross-domain issues.
- Drive root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions for critical system, integration, and reliability problems.
- Partner with Product Management and engineering leaders on platform strategy, technology roadmaps, innovation, reuse, modularity, and localization.
- Establish architecture standards and reference designs, mentor engineers, and improve software quality, system performance, and development efficiency.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Typically 10+ years of experience in software development, system architecture, or complex product development in industrial automation, motion control, robotics, semiconductor equipment, scientific instrumentation, or related industries.
- Experience defining and delivering architectures for software-intensive industrial equipment or electromechanical products.
- Expertise in software architecture, object-oriented design, API and interface definition, design patterns, and engineering best practices, with hands-on experience in C#, .NET, C++, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Strong system-level understanding of precision motion-control systems, including controllers, drives, motors, encoders, sensors, positioning systems, and control algorithms.
- Experience with EtherCAT, CAN, Modbus, serial communication, EtherNet/IP, or TCP/IP, plus strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
