Network Architect / Consultant (AI Networks)

Location: Based in Beijing or Shenyang, China; business travel required

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of complex SD-WAN, enterprise campus, high-density WLAN, and network security architectures.
• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for critical network incidents.
• Establish enterprise network standards, guidelines, SOPs, and code review practices.
• Provide technical enablement and hands-on guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, LLM-enabled network automation, intelligent traffic steering, and self-healing infrastructure.
• Plan, deploy, and tune AI Data Center Networks using RoCEv2, InfiniBand, or NVLink architectures.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Communications, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in large-scale network architecture planning and operations and maintenance.
• Technical capabilities equivalent to CCIE or HCIE in network engineering and architecture design.
• Large-scale implementation experience in one or two areas: DCN, WAN/SD-WAN, enterprise campus networks, high-density WLAN, or network security.
• Proficient English reading and writing required for technical documentation and collaboration.
• Willingness to travel for business and work from Beijing or Shenyang.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying, tuning, or operating InfiniBand, NVLink, or large-scale RoCEv2 lossless networks.
• Understanding of distributed communication for AI model training and inference.
• Experience using LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Qwen, or MiniMax for network efficiency.
• Strong programming skills with Python, Ansible, or similar tools for NetDevOps toolchain development.
• Fluent spoken English communication skills.
