Associate Manufacturing I (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Execute plant operations and assist Manufacturing Associates with troubleshooting.
• Monitor processing parameters, identify atypical trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare solutions and equipment, stage and dispense raw materials and single-use parts, and support autoclaving and washing activities.
• Perform sterilizing filter integrity testing, environmental monitoring of classified cleanrooms, and in-process production sample testing.
• Support safety audits, follow EHS and regulatory requirements, evaluate documentation and data, and interact with internal and external inspectors.
• Perform physically demanding production-floor activities, including standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing under 12 kg.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of directly related experience, an associate degree with 4 years, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years; fresh graduates may be considered.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of plant and unit operations, including autoclaves, parts washers, and process equipment, with strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Understanding of cGMP, EHS compliance, cleanroom operations, basic chemistry, biology, physical principles, regulatory requirements, and analytical methods.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV, LIMS, and TrackWise; basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, email, and learning management systems.
• Willingness to work any shift, including schedules supporting 24/7 operations. Medical requirements for the role must also be fulfilled.
