Biotechnologist (Cell & Gene Therapy) 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Tuas, Singapore; onsite cleanroom role with a rotating 12-hour shift pattern

What you will do

• Perform cGMP manufacturing activities using aseptic and cleanroom practices.
• Complete and review batch records, logbooks, and other GMP documentation accurately and on time.
• Conduct environmental monitoring, equipment cleaning, sanitization, and production support activities.
• Use electronic manufacturing and quality systems, including DMS, LIMS, and TrackWise.
• Identify and escalate deviations, equipment alarms, and other non-routine events.
• Maintain training requirements and contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant academic, technical, or industry experience.
• Basic understanding of cGMP, quality, safety, and data integrity principles.
• Ability to learn and use electronic manufacturing and quality systems.
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and follow a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of biopharmaceutical processing, aseptic techniques, or cleanroom operations.
