Manufacturing Equipment Engineer 2 (Analytical QC & Formulation)

What you will do

• Maintain and improve optical, mechanical, electrical, fluidics, and smart manufacturing equipment in a high-volume consumables production environment.
• Execute preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment improvement activities to improve uptime, reliability, product quality, cycle time, and cost.
• Lead incident investigations, prepare formal reports, and maintain equipment maintenance work instructions.
• Coordinate shift activities and priorities to meet production schedules, KPIs, equipment, and supply objectives.
• Provide technical guidance on PLC and automation troubleshooting, mentor Technicians and Junior Engineers, and develop on-the-job training programs.
• Analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and update critical spare parts in SAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or production experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a Diploma.
• Experience in a GMP-controlled manufacturing or production environment and strong knowledge of electrical, electronics, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting analytical instruments such as UPLC, microplate readers, qPCR systems, liquid-handler automation, laboratory equipment, and HMI process-control systems.
• Experience with engineering drawings, project management, and safe work practices; PLC experience with Beckhoff or Allen Bradley is advantageous.
• For shift work, availability for rotating 12-hour day and night shifts is required; the role also requires working in noisy and chemical environments with PPE and handling loads up to 15 kg.
