What you will do

• Model and simulate wind turbine generator power converter control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Analyse simulation results, control-loop performance, and system behaviour under different operating conditions.
• Prepare test cases and simulation environments for control software verification.
• Support verification activities, performance assessments, and technical reporting.
• Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

• Currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Fundamental understanding of power electronics, converter technology, control theory, and control system design.
• Understanding of power system analysis principles and awareness of wind energy or renewable energy technologies.
• Experience using MATLAB and Simulink, with the ability to analyse and interpret technical data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Availability to work onsite in Glasgow, UK.
