Mechanical Engineering Experts (AI)

Location: Fully remote from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, or Uruguay

What you will do

• Design realistic mechanical engineering tasks based on product development, manufacturing, and industrial engineering workflows.
• Create and review 2D technical drawings, 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering specifications.
• Develop tasks involving mechanical design, materials selection, tolerance analysis, and component optimization.
• Prepare and validate calculations covering stress, strain, forces, thermal behavior, and mechanical performance.
• Analyze FEA, CFD, and manufacturing simulation outputs while identifying design inconsistencies, manufacturing constraints, and potential engineering failures.
• Create traceable reference solutions and review AI-generated engineering outputs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Substantial professional experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or engineering analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Experience with engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and design validation.
• Strong written English communication skills and the ability to document workflows and explain technical decisions clearly.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with FEA, CFD, or other engineering simulation tools.
• Familiarity with GD&T, manufacturing tolerances, and industry standards.
• Experience with CNC machining, additive manufacturing, industrial automation, Python, MATLAB, or engineering workflow automation.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated technical outputs or developing engineering assessments.
