Location: Fully remote for developers in the Dublin area, Ireland

What you will do

• Bring and develop a software project that you personally own, such as a side project, tool, or open-source library.
• Build features, fix bugs, refactor code, and write documentation using an AI coding assistant.
• Compare two assistant responses at each step and explain which response is better.
• Work independently in a personal development environment using your own tools and schedule.
• Provide ratings and written feedback that contribute to AI coding tool development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Dublin area while working remotely.
• Personally and solely own a software project stored in a Git repository.
• Be comfortable with the terminal and Git-based workflows.
• Use macOS, Linux, or Windows with WSL2.
• Write clear, honest evaluations and work reliably without direct supervision.
• Do not submit employer-, client-, university-, company-, or startup-owned projects, projects under NDA, AI model training or evaluation projects, ML infrastructure, security exploit tooling, or projects processing other people's personal data.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining open-source projects with an approved license.
• Additional maintainers on the project may be disclosed for eligibility review.
