Sr Principal Software Architect (Secrets Manager SaaS)

Location: Petach Tikva, Israel; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Define and drive the long-term architectural vision for the Secrets Manager SaaS product.
• Design and evolve services for scalability, security, resiliency, and operational excellence.
• Shape architecture across multiple product areas and influence strategic technology decisions.
• Establish architectural standards, lead modernization initiatives, and reduce technical debt.
• Lead proof-of-concepts and hands-on technical exploration of new technologies.
• Integrate AI tools and methodologies into the software development lifecycle to improve R&D efficiency and developer productivity.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience with SaaS-based software architecture.
• Strong understanding of system integration design patterns and technical risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments such as Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, or ECS, and/or serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda.
• Full professional fluency in English.
• Collaborative technical leadership, mentoring, strong decision-making, and commitment to technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go, Ruby, or Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Deep knowledge of security principles, authentication, and authorization protocols.
• Previous experience as an R&D manager.
