Associate Design Director (AI & Tech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with two days from the office depending on location.

What you will do

• Lead design for an AI platform client across business-as-usual creative, creative sprints, and full productions in global markets.
• Review and sign off work while maintaining brand consistency, creative quality, and alignment with business standards.
• Lead, mentor, motivate, and empower designers and creatives across client teams and departments.
• Develop creative concepts, campaign look and feel, visual systems, styleframes, and narrative-driven motion work.
• Guide execution across motion and static deliverables and collaborate with producers, planners, creative leads, and other disciplines.
• Build design processes, improve ways of working, present work internally and externally, and contribute to creative innovation.

Requirements

• Strong experience leading a client with a consultative approach and setting up client teams operationally.
• Experience leading and guiding designers or creatives in a client team or department.
• Strong visual judgment, confidence contributing to concepts, and experience in art direction and creative direction.
• Solid motion design skills, including timing, composition, framing, storytelling, and styleframes.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating concept, craft, high-quality motion and design work, including tech or AI-led campaigns.
• Curiosity about AI tools and interest in applying them to creative work.
