Associate Director, Art Director (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; roles are open in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $122,000–$160,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Concept and design high-impact digital creative across social and video, emphasizing visual storytelling and performance.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor junior and mid-level Art Directors and Designers.
• Support pre-production planning, on-set shoots, and post-production with video editors and designers.
• Partner with copywriters, strategists, producers, project managers, and clients to align creative with briefs and business objectives.
• Own creative execution from concept through delivery, delegating work while remaining accountable for final output.
• Lead brainstorms and solve creative and production challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of visual design experience with a portfolio of digital campaigns, social-first content, and video work.
• Social agency or comparable experience managing high-volume, high-visibility accounts.
• On-set and content production experience with video directors, editors, and producers.
• Hands-on mastery of generative AI platforms such as Midjourney, Runway, Vizcom, Weavy, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of paid media, conversion design, data-backed creative strategies, and short-form social video optimization.
• Strong presentation, communication, design, branding, typography, layout, motion, and collaboration skills.
