Principal, Data Analytics (Adobe – AA/CJA/WebSDK)

Location: Remote in the United States; roles are open in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. Travel is expected.

Salary: $96,200–$148,000 USD per year, based on experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact.

What you will do

• Audit and clean up double-tracked web and app SDK implementations, decommission legacy tags, and configure client-side data collection containers.
• Configure server-side event forwarding to route behavioral telemetry into downstream customer profile platforms.
• Build real-time analytics verification procedures to identify and resolve discrepancies between frontend trackers and enterprise data lakes.
• Re-architect complex tag containers to improve page performance and loading latency.
• Collaborate with web architects on edge-based tagging and with journey architects on campaign-link attribution validation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on web or app analytics instrumentation, tag management systems, or customer telemetry tracking.
• Deep expertise in client-side data layer design, custom JavaScript tag rules, browser debugging tools, and server-side event routing.
• Hands-on configuration expertise with Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK and Mobile SDK.
• Development experience with Adobe Launch, including extensions, rules, and server-side Event Forwarding.
• Experience debugging tracking errors and data discrepancies with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
