Principal, Visual Design (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; roles are open in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $96,200–$120,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Define and implement visual and conceptual design strategies for websites, branding, UX, and content.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary creative teams while setting high design standards.
• Drive complex digital projects from kickoff through delivery, managing direction, quality, budgets, and deadlines.
• Develop strategic insights, moodboards, creative guidelines, and design systems.
• Build scalable Figma components for paid media across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Pinterest.
• Develop client relationships and contribute ideas that improve design practices and company operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design and interactive experience for leading brands, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced Figma expertise, including components, variants, and auto layout.
• Strong knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, brand development, and design systems.
• Advanced experience integrating generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Vizcom, and Weavy into design production.
• Excellent presentation, public speaking, strategic problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
