SolidWorks Drafter (Metal Fabrication/Manufacturing): Converting approved engineering drawings into manufacturing-ready documentation with an accent on SolidWorks drafting, CNC router files, non-standard plate exports, and drafting standards. Focus on modifying drawing revisions, importing bills of materials into ERP systems, and maintaining accuracy across fabrication documentation.
Location: Onsite or work from home in Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu, Philippines. Work schedule: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Queensland time / 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Philippine time.

What you will do
- Convert client-approved engineering drawings into detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Modify and update existing drawings for new project and client requirements.
- Produce non-standard plate exports and CNC router files for manufacturing.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant drafting and engineering standards.
- Import bills of materials into an ERP system for inventory management and job ticket generation.
- Organize drawing files, maintain revision accuracy, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Drafting, Engineering Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing drafting.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with structural steel, fabrication, platforms, switch rooms, frames, beams, or similar industrial structures is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when producing or modifying technical drawings.
- Knowledge of AS1657, CNC router file generation, PDM systems, AS4100, or ERP systems is advantageous but not required.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of AS1657 and experience generating CNC router files.
- Exposure to Product Data Management systems and familiarity with AS4100 or other structural steel drafting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems for inventory or job ticket management.
