Supplier Engineer (Onsite - Acton)

Location: Onsite in Acton, Massachusetts, United States; approximately 10–25% travel to suppliers is required.

Annual base salary: $70,400–$105,575, with potential incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod platform for insulin delivery and other subcutaneous drug delivery applications.

What you will do

• Lead supplier capital equipment qualification projects from kickoff through production implementation.
• Generate validation and qualification protocols and coordinate execution, documentation, and final reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements at regulated tier-one component suppliers.
• Travel to suppliers to lead qualification projects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support procurement and installation of manufacturing equipment and participate in product design reviews focused on design for manufacture.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial, Biomedical, or Chemical Engineering plus 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry; relevant co-op experience may be considered.
• Alternatively, an MS in Engineering with 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to manage supply chain projects from concept through production, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for component manufacturing and secondary operations.
• Experience or familiarity with injection molding and/or metal forming, manufacturing equipment, and regulated production environments.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or Pro-E and one of SAS, JMP, or Minitab; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project.
• Willingness to work onsite in Acton, Massachusetts and travel approximately 10–25%.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma process improvement experience or certification.
• Familiarity with cGMP practices.
• Strong supplier-facing communication, project leadership, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
