Senior Specialist, Application Developer - Full Stack Developer (Palantir Foundry)

Location: Remote opportunity within the United States; listed locations include Melbourne, Florida; Arlington and Herndon, Virginia; Salt Lake City, Utah; Greenville and Plano, Texas; and Rochester, New York. Many positions require security clearance, which may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Salary: $106,500–$197,500 in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, Greater D.C., Denver, and NYC areas; $92,500–$171,500 in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York State, and Vermont.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications, workflows, and services within the Palantir Foundry platform.
• Build user-facing features, backend logic, APIs, workflow automation, and data-driven applications for enterprise use cases.
• Develop batch and near-real-time data pipelines integrating legacy ERP, PLM, supply chain, finance, operations, and specialized systems.
• Implement data transformations, validations, quality checks, ontology models, governance standards, and integration patterns.
• Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, defect resolution, and secure deployment collaboration with infrastructure and operations teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, senior developers, security teams, and other cross-functional partners in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a graduate degree and 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience developing software with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Full-stack development experience covering frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and data transformations.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices including version control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and CI/CD.
• Experience with enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, application integrations, or relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to meet applicable U.S. security-clearance and classified-information eligibility requirements where required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development.
• Experience with React or Angular and backend/API development in Python or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, containerization, infrastructure automation, AI/ML-enabled workflows, or analytics applications.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
