TL;DR
Manager Site Technology (Mining/Autonomous Hauling): Deploying and operating technology products and services at an autonomous mine site while managing safety, availability, production, uptime, fleet utilization, and operating cost metrics with an accent on customer operations, dealer coordination, and autonomous fleet productivity. Focus on leading on-site expert teams, diagnosing complex operational issues, and influencing internal partners to deliver corrective actions and site solutions.

Location: Onsite five days a week at an autonomous mine site in Parauapebas, Pará, Brazil; ideally within driving distance of the site. The role is mostly mine-site based and requires less than 25% travel.

hirify.global manufactures construction and mining equipment, engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives, supported by a global dealer network.

What you will do

  • Deploy and operate technology products and services supporting current and future customer needs at the mine site.
  • Manage site performance metrics including safety, technology availability, production, operating cost per ton, uptime, and autonomous haulage fleet utilization.
  • Develop, prioritize, and implement customer recovery strategies while aligning dealer servicing and support practices.
  • Lead hirify.global expert teams onsite and coordinate with broader internal teams to solve problems and improve autonomous fleet productivity.
  • Advise dealer and customer operations, maintenance, and executive leaders on best practices for the hirify.global Command for Hauling system.
  • Represent hirify.global onsite and ensure the safety of hirify.global personnel and the autonomous haulage system.

Requirements

  • University degree.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Experience in mining technology and exposure to mining operations.
  • Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, relationship-management, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to set priorities independently and analyze complex, unique operational problems.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week at the Parauapebas mine site in Brazil.

Nice to have

  • Pre-advanced Spanish.
  • Previous field representative, mine operations, or Autonomous Run Team experience.
  • Experience with mining autonomy and autonomous haulage operations.
