Senior Clinical Data Manager (Solid Oncology)

Location: Hybrid, three days on-site in Chicago or New York City

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Oversee daily clinical abstraction workflows and build high-quality clinical repositories for solid cancers.
• Resolve escalated abstractor queries and complex edge cases across solid oncology disease subtypes.
• Develop and maintain abstraction guidelines, data validation rules, curation standards, and internal reference resources.
• Analyze operational bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and maintain workstream output efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and establish audit frameworks across large abstractor teams.
• Train, coach, and guide Data Abstractors while monitoring performance and clinical expertise development.

Requirements

• CTR, BSN, MSN, or substantial clinical data management experience as a data manager, clinical monitor, or CRA.
• At least four years of progressive clinical or research experience focused on solid tumors or oncology subtypes.
• Knowledge of medical and genomic terminology, medical abbreviations, and pharmacy terminology.
• Experience developing clinical protocols, policies, reference manuals, workflows, or other procedural components.
• Demonstrated experience managing abstractor or clinical data teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, analytics, and dashboards, along with strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
