Senior Clinical Programmer (Python) (Clinical Data Programming/Data Visualization): Develop, validate, and maintain clinical data programs and applications aligned with CDISC SDTM standards, with an accent on Python-based data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Focus on building clinical data solutions with PySpark, Databricks, pandas, and NumPy, solving programming issues, and providing technical guidance to junior programmers.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; 100% home based

What you will do

  • Develop, test, and validate clinical data programs and applications.
  • Build data visualizations using Spotfire or similar visualization tools.
  • Write and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with CDISC SDTM standards and support data management plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and troubleshoot programming issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior programmers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced English, written and spoken; proficiency is tested during the interview process.
  • Native Spanish or Portuguese for LATAM is required.
  • Extensive experience in clinical data programming and data visualization.
  • Strong Python experience with PySpark, Databricks, pandas, and NumPy is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of SDTM and strong experience with SAS, R, and SQL.
