Lead Product Engineer - OFC (Centrifugal Compressors)

What you will do

• Lead regionalization and new product development projects for centrifugal compressors from concept through product launch.
• Translate customer, application, and regional market requirements into product specifications, development objectives, and roadmap inputs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through prototype builds, qualification testing, reliability validation, system verification, design reviews, certification, and launch readiness.
• Support customers and application engineering teams with feasibility studies, product selection, performance evaluation, testing, validation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Lead engineering changes, lifecycle management, quality and reliability improvements, cost reduction, and product localization activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Service, suppliers, and global engineering teams on production readiness, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and supply chain robustness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Energy & Power Engineering, Turbomachinery, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 7 years with a master’s degree in centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
• Proven experience in centrifugal compressor new product development and a deep understanding of turbomachinery design.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including system principles, electrical integration, and centrifugal compressor applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and execution skills.
• Effective communication skills in English required.
