  • Foundational experience with engineering testing, integration, troubleshooting, or verification through coursework, internships, research, military service, laboratory work, personal projects, or professional work.
  • Knowledge of systems-engineering and test concepts, including requirements, verification, validation, configuration management, defect tracking, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows, command-line tools, networking basics, and scripting or programming such as Python, Bash, or C++.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in San Diego and travel periodically for integration, testing, and customer activities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with UAS, autonomous vehicles, robotics, aviation, embedded systems, or complex integrated systems.
  • Exposure to software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, simulation, modeling and simulation, or automated test environments.
  • Familiarity with test automation, telemetry and log analysis, Git, issue tracking, build systems, continuous integration, and test automation.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, IP networking, UDP/TCP communication, flight-test processes, aviation safety, or operational risk management.
  • Experience with Department of Defense development, test, evaluation, or acquisition processes.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on engineering work across laboratory, simulation, integration, and flight-test environments.
  • Collaboration with test, systems, software, autonomy, hardware, program, platform, and customer teams.
  • Work in a respectful, accountable, and high-performing engineering culture.
  • Periodic travel to internal test sites, customer locations, and platform-integration events.
