Agentic Systems Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement AI agents that build, refactor, test, optimize, and operate Java and Kotlin backend services.
• Architect self-describing, agent-consumable microservices and machine-operable APIs.
• Build pipelines where validation agents enforce PCI-DSS rules, regulatory constraints, scalability requirements, and architectural standards.
• Develop autonomous monitoring agents that detect anomalies, diagnose root causes, and trigger corrective workflows in production.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Data, and AI teams to integrate agents into a coordinated multi-agent ecosystem.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend engineering experience with 4+ years of Java with Spring/Spring Boot or Kotlin in production.
• Production experience integrating LLMs, MCP servers, and multi-agent systems into engineering workflows.
• Hands-on experience with frontier models such as Claude Opus 4.x, GPT-5.x Codex, or similar.
• Strong understanding of context engineering, token economics, prompt architecture, reusable memory, RAG, and persistent state management.
• Experience designing guardrails, validation layers, policy enforcement, compliance checks, circuit breakers, and architectural constraints for autonomous systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalable backend architectures, resilient microservices, observability, and financial-grade reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking systems.
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to AI-enabled systems or interest in integrating intelligence into applications.
