Production Planner (Chemicals)

Location: Altamira, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production plans for both Altamira plant production lines.
• Align regional supply requirements with production schedules and plant capacity.
• Prepare and distribute production schedules and weekly finished-product availability updates.
• Coordinate production schedule adjustments and communicate changes through the established Change Request process.
• Ensure continuity of shipments and provide production status updates during global meetings.
• Manage and optimize finished-goods inventory across internal and external warehouses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience in supply chain, operations, customer service, or sourcing.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English for communication with customers, carriers, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Familiarity with production processes and finished and semi-finished product management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
