Assistant Vice President, Healthcare Data & AI

Location: Remote within the United States; Chicago preferred. Occasional travel of 0–10% may be required. The role is performed primarily from a home office and may require proximity to an airport.

Salary: $155,000–$225,000 annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain analytical models, algorithms, and AI-enabled capabilities for healthcare benchmarking, performance analysis, entity relationships, and intelligence generation.
• Support the development of a cohesive data strategy, including data access mechanisms and coordination of data assets across practices.
• Translate healthcare data, business requirements, and consulting needs into scalable analytical solutions for the Insight Engine.
• Evaluate, organize, integrate, and manage large and complex healthcare datasets to ensure accuracy, reliability, and usability.
• Partner with technology teams to develop and maintain scalable tools, applications, and infrastructure.
• Research emerging analytical techniques, AI capabilities, and data science methodologies while maintaining documentation for auditing and future enhancement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data science, advanced analytics, AI-enabled analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, predictive analytics, optimization modeling, operations research, advanced statistics, or mathematical modeling in business environments.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with SQL, PySpark, business intelligence tools, cloud data platforms, R, SAS, or related technologies is preferred.
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying analytical models using large and complex datasets.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare finance, healthcare operations, healthcare analytics, or healthcare data.
• Prior consulting experience.
• Understanding of healthcare financial and operational performance concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
