Manager, Project Management (Pavement)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States — Home Office

Annual salary: $70,000–$130,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Manage pavement capital and maintenance projects from planning through completion across Walmart and Sam’s facilities.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and funding plans.
• Oversee asphalt paving, concrete repairs, rehabilitation, and pavement preservation programs.
• Coordinate Operations, Finance, Facility Services, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
• Use pavement condition data to prioritize investments, extend asset life, identify savings, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field plus 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Experience managing pavement, construction, facilities, or infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
• Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, scope development, risk mitigation, and project delivery.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, quality control, contractor management, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to analyze data and make decisions that optimize asset performance and investment strategies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Data analytics and project management systems experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree in Business.
• Project Management Professional or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
