Phlebotomist (Diagnostic Testing)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; onsite work at a Patient Service Center or client office. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; travel to additional sites may be required.

Pay range: $17.75–$25.92 per hour, with potential eligibility for a quarterly performance-based incentive.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites and work independently or with a team as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited training program, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a record of exceptional customer service.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
