Solution Designer Generative AI Applications

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Lead functional design and development of application systems across technologies and platforms.
• Translate business requirements into application, infrastructure, interface, and integration designs.
• Coordinate complex solution design activities and develop cost-effective, innovative solutions.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and lead multiple complex technology solutions.
• Lead design review sessions and align stakeholders, project teams, and architectural direction.
• Mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing and problem solving.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and ETL tools such as Informatica or SSIS.
• Experience with Git, TFS, JIRA, or Azure DevOps.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Strong technology judgment, stakeholder communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
