React Native Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $110,400–$220,800 annual base salary, plus potential equity, bonus, wellness allowance, and US benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

What you will do

• Build and own React Native features from client problem discovery and solution design through implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Partner with Product and Design to create responsive, trustworthy experiences for discovery, trading, and simplified client journeys.
• Work with APIs and dynamic or real-time data while making decisions about state management, rendering, performance, architecture, and reliability.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, product ownership, and engineering quality.
• Help build a new app for Asian markets, guiding regional UX decisions and approaches to connectivity, firewall restrictions, vendors, and telemetry tooling.

Requirements

• Strong experience shipping production React Native applications and making sound architectural and implementation decisions.
• Product-building mindset with experience turning loosely defined problems into measurable outcomes using metrics, experimentation, client behavior, and feedback.
• Experience building responsive, data-rich applications with APIs and dynamic or real-time data.
• Experience building and shipping consumer mobile apps for Asian markets, including knowledge of regional UX conventions, technical limitations, firewall, and connectivity challenges.
• Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, payments, or another financial technology environment.
• Written and verbal English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with native mobile development in Swift or Kotlin.
• Experience across mobile and web or in a startup or small-to-medium-sized technology company.
• Experience with real-time data and improving mobile performance, responsiveness, and reliability across devices.
• Chinese or another Asian language proficiency.
• Experience using tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude while retaining responsibility for engineering judgment and quality.
