Senior Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineer

What you will do

• Build Viceroy's reliability, availability, and maintainability program, including reliability predictions and FMECA.
• Develop the scheduled maintenance program and supporting documentation using MSG-3 or RCM methodology.
• Align RAM analyses with Systems Engineering safety analyses and certification means of compliance.
• Translate reliability and maintainability requirements into producible and inspectable designs with Quality and Manufacturing.
• Establish a FRACAS-style process and lead failure investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to closure.
• Stand up the tools, processes, and documentation needed to scale RAM engineering as production increases.

Requirements

• Demonstrated RAM engineering experience with safety-critical systems in aerospace, maritime, medical, nuclear, or another highly regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience developing scheduled maintenance programs using MSG-3 or RCM.
• Strong experience with reliability prediction, FMECA, FMEA, and Weibull analysis.
• Experience with FRACAS, failure-data analysis, trend identification, root-cause investigation, and reliability improvements.
• Familiarity with ARP4761 and/or ARP4754A and the relationship between RAM engineering, system safety, and certification.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Certification, Quality, and Manufacturing.
