Director, Technology Operations (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, 1601 SE 10th St, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of large-scale technology programs.
• Manage program budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and return-on-investment objectives.
• Define program scope, performance baselines, and risk mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
• Influence cross-functional teams through communication, collaboration, and consensus-building.
• Assess technology trends and identify operational improvements.
• Develop scalable processes that improve program throughput, quality, and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology, business, engineering, finance, management, or project/program management field and 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, program performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of technology landscapes, business operations, KPI assessment, and process improvement.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technology, business, engineering, finance, management, or project/program management field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, digital accessibility best practices, and inclusive product development.
