Manager 9HL PDT (Gas Turbine Engineering)

Location: Hybrid remote/office in Orlando, Florida, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. What you will do

• Lead the global turbine frame design team for the SGT-9000HL gas turbine platform.
• Provide technical direction for turbine-module development, upgrades, issue resolution, and product releases.
• Manage design reviews from concept through manufacturing, testing, verification, and validation.
• Lead technical programs, root cause analyses, and design down-selection within schedule and budget requirements.
• Coach and develop a global engineering team while managing performance, resources, budget, and manpower.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Service, Procurement, and Project organizations on fleet support, customer communication, and technology roadmap execution.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Extensive experience in gas turbine product design and development, including turbine frames, hot gas path components, and mechanical integrity.
• Advanced expertise in gas turbine engineering, heat transfer, and turbine module development.
• Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, SAP, and relevant engineering tools.
• Proven leadership of diverse, global engineering teams, including coaching, resource planning, and performance management.
• Strong project management, strategic planning, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; business-fluent English required.

• Experience with Agile or KANBAN methodologies.
• Additional years of experience may qualify candidates for a higher level.
