Staff Security Architect (AI Security)

What you will do

• Design, review, and approve security architecture for enterprise, cloud, SaaS, platform, and application environments.
• Lead cloud security architecture across AWS, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments, covering identity, networks, data protection, monitoring, and key management.
• Define secure patterns for SaaS, PaaS, developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, secrets, software provenance, and artifact signing.
• Architect security for generative AI, LLM, RAG, model-serving, and agentic systems, including controls for prompt injection, unsafe tool use, data disclosure, and model compromise.
• Improve identity, authentication, authorization, cryptography, application security, and production security controls across complex environments.
• Provide technical leadership by communicating risks, tradeoffs, and recommended solutions to engineering, product, security, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in security architecture, security engineering, product security, cloud security, infrastructure security, or related disciplines, with leadership at senior or staff level.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture across cloud, application, network, identity, platform, infrastructure, and enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud-based and containerized environments using AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, PKI, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, TLS, VPNs, secrets management, KMS, HSMs, WAFs, firewalls, segmentation, DDoS mitigation, and intrusion detection or prevention.
• Experience with secure software development, threat modeling, CI/CD, developer platforms, application security, and software lifecycle controls.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML security, including generative AI, LLM, and agentic architectures, data flows, trust boundaries, model access, and tool integrations.

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI/ML platforms, model gateways, RAG architectures, vector databases, or agentic workflows in production.
• AI security evaluation, red teaming, adversarial testing, or model abuse testing experience.
• Experience with large-scale Linux, distributed, multi-tenant, or high-availability environments.
• Development or automation experience with Python, C++, Java, or similar languages.
• Patents, publications, open-source contributions, conference participation, teaching, penetration testing, or advanced academic qualifications.
