Production Supervisor (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at 121 Gamma Dr or 1 Anchor Dr; 1st or 2nd shift

Annual salary: $80,000–$90,500

What you will do

• Direct, support, and develop production team members within a designated manufacturing area.
• Achieve production and material-support plans while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, cost, and operational KPI targets.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Shipping, Training, and Engineering teams to optimize workflows and labor resources.
• Lead continuous improvement through product teams, Tier meetings, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, PULSE initiatives, and daily management.
• Communicate business objectives, team status, challenges, and support requirements across the organization.
• Coach and mentor employees, facilitate cross-training, and deliver results through effective team leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or equivalent.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally, build trust, communicate effectively, and develop team members.
• Ability to meet frequent physical requirements, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in conditions involving occasional extreme temperatures, humidity, wet environments, and frequent noise.

Nice to have

• Technical associate degree or four-year college degree.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing concepts.
