Senior AI Engineer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Own the architecture and delivery of production-grade LLM systems and classical machine learning solutions.
• Design, evaluate, and optimize RAG pipelines, including retrieval, chunking, indexing, and monitoring.
• Build scalable LLM services, agentic workflows, and distributed GenAI and ML workloads on Databricks using Spark and MLflow.
• Define trade-offs between LLMs and traditional ML, fine-tuning and RAG, and hosted and self-managed models while optimizing latency, cost, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement evaluation frameworks and production practices covering quality, hallucination, CI/CD, monitoring, rollback, and versioning.
• Design client-focused AI solutions, lead technical decisions and pre-sales architecture discussions, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Production experience delivering LLM-based systems and classical machine learning projects.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, agents, open-source LLMs, Databricks, distributed computing, and Spark performance optimization.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience deploying scalable ML and LLM systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Clear, confident English communication is required for technical discussions. Client-facing experience and participation in pre-sales processes are expected.
