Financial Controller (Digital Assets)

hirify.global provides regulated digital asset infrastructure, including custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, stablecoins, and settlement services for institutional clients and investors.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end accounting function across hirify.global’s Singapore entities, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations.
• Produce management accounts, entity P&L reporting, consolidation inputs, and variance analysis for local leadership and the global Finance team.
• Prepare IFRS statutory financial statements and manage the annual audit as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Ensure accurate accounting for digital asset holdings, trading activity, client assets, and multi-currency transactions.
• Maintain the internal control environment and support regulatory readiness in partnership with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and external providers.
• Own budgeting and forecasting, provide financial insight to the Managing Director, and implement process improvements and automation.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA Australia, or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous.
• 8–12 years of accounting experience across professional practice and industry.
• Experience with cryptocurrency and digital asset trading, including valuation, custody, and client asset treatment.
• Experience in a MAS-regulated Major Payment Institution or Capital Markets Services licensee is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred, with strong communication across time zones.
