TL;DR

Assistant Accountant (Fintech): Maintaining accurate accounting transactions, reconciliations, ledger activity, and financial records with an accent on financial controls, compliance, and reporting accuracy. Focus on investigating discrepancies, validating complex transactions, resolving accounting issues, and improving financial processes.

Location: Quezon City, Philippines. The role requires working a night shift aligned with European business hours once a week per month.

What you will do

Complete accounting transactions, reconciliations, and ledger activities accurately.
Support reliable financial reporting and business decision-making.
Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting exceptions, and strengthen financial controls.
Research financial data, validate complex transactions, and provide recommendations.
Resolve client, vendor, and stakeholder inquiries while contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy.
Experience performing reconciliations, validating financial transactions, and maintaining accounting records.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work with attention to detail and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Open to fresh graduates and CPA finalists or recent CPA passers.
Amenable to a night shift aligned with European business hours once a week per month.

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and General Ledger systems.
