Non-Technical Project/Program Management IV

Location: Osaka or Tokyo, Japan. Full-time onsite role with travel required for approximately 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource plans.
• Deliver assigned projects and programs according to product and process specifications, budgets, resource requirements, and deadlines.
• Document project, program, and process development phases and transfer relevant information across functional teams.
• Manage material and financial resources and collaborate with staff to maximize project productivity.
• Lead research and development of new technologies and incorporate new processes, designs, and methodologies into products and services.
• Ensure compliance with policies covering engineering notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.

Requirements

• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline or field.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend practices that improve products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risk, or complexity.
• Ability to solve complex problems using advanced analytical judgment and communicate difficult concepts effectively.
• Ability to work in physical environments requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and work in tight or noisy spaces.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment and hand or power tools.
