Software Engineer (ADAS)

Location: Milford, Michigan, United States; hybrid attendance at a specific location at least 3 times per week. Travel required: less than 25%.

Salary: $104,500–$160,200 annual base salary at L6, plus potential incentive pay.

What you will do

• Support controls integration for automated driving platforms and applications.
• Build expertise in vehicle control systems for automated driving.
• Triage and resolve software integration issues.
• Support vehicle build events, program milestones, testing, and special initiatives.
• Conduct testing and data analysis for automated driving features and performance.
• Verify and update vehicle software configurations and help develop virtualization tools that reduce dependence on vehicle hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in controls development, vehicle integration, or validation.
• Experience with embedded software programming languages including Python, C, or C++.
• Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to learn tools and solve complex problems.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle regularly and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Milford, Michigan, with regular on-site attendance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with autonomous vehicle control, active safety, or electrification.
• Experience with VCU or Android application development, Fluent Bit, or back-office infrastructure.
• Familiarity with the Global Vehicle Development Process and agile software development.
