Consumer Lending Coordinator (Fintech)

Location: 14985 Glazier Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota, United States; onsite role

Salary: $24–$28 per hour, plus monthly incentives and a 3% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Process personal and home equity lines of credit loan files accurately and on time.
• Review member documentation, including title commitments, appraisals, collections records, flood certificates, and real estate vesting documents.
• Prepare loan and real estate documents and ensure the institution's lien position.
• Verify underwriting conditions and legal and compliance requirements, including HMDA, MLA, and Bank Secrecy Act obligations.
• Perform in-person, electronic, and remote online notary acts for loan closings.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and provide accurate, professional member service.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience, including 2 years in financial services.
• At least 1 year of consumer lending or mortgage experience.
• Knowledge of consumer real estate processing procedures and lending regulations.
• Ability to analyze loan documentation, identify red flags or fraud, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
• Current Minnesota notary registration or willingness to become a Minnesota notary; registration with the Minnesota Secretary of State is preferred within 30 days.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of consumer loan processing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
