Talent Community Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco office; minimum three days per week onsite

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD base salary, plus benefits, stock options, and perks.

What you will do

• Build and run a community of engineers and builders through events, hackathons, meetups, and ongoing engagement.
• Represent hirify.global at AI-native builder events and coordinate the annual event presence of engineering leads.
• Own hackathon programs, including planning, travel, participation, follow-up, and handoff of strong candidates to the Talent team.
• Map AI-native talent and companies, maintaining actionable information in the internal talent graph and community feed.
• Coordinate technical blog content with engineers and develop reusable engineering-brand materials.
• Build alumni, referral, campus, open-source, talks, and dinner programs while nurturing future candidates.

Requirements

• Experience building and running a developer or builder community, DevRel program, or engineering events at a high-growth company, with measurable results.
• Engineering fluency and the ability to discuss what engineers are building and why it is difficult.
• Existing presence in the AI-native hackathon and meetup scene in San Francisco.
• Experience mapping a talent market or group of companies into an actionable list.
• Strong technical writing and editing skills, with clear and specific communication.
• Ownership, speed, craftsmanship, collaboration, systems thinking, and the ability to build programs from a blank page.

Nice to have

• Hackathon or campus program experience.
• Engineering, developer relations, or technical writing background.
• Experience with relationships involving MIT, Waterloo, Caltech, or similar institutions.
