Senior Full-stack Software Engineer (Java, Quarkus, Angular)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance production-grade backend applications with Java, focusing on performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Build and maintain Quarkus microservices within modern cloud-native and distributed architectures.
• Develop and maintain Angular frontend solutions across the application stack.
• Design event-driven solutions using AWS SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Implement observability through logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical decisions, code reviews, automation, and Agile/Scrum collaboration while using AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in software engineering with a backend development focus.
• Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Quarkus and Angular.
• Mandatory hands-on AWS experience, particularly with SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with observability practices, Agile/Scrum, and AI-powered engineering tools such as Cursor or developer copilots.
• Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with reactive programming, especially Mutiny or Project Reactor.
• Experience with financial markets, investment banking, or financial systems.
• Experience building highly scalable and resilient cloud applications.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development practices and tools.
